Jon is executive director of Greenville Renaissance Scholars, a nonprofit with the mission to inspire, motivate and prepare middle school students to succeed on a college track. Jon is working to grow and expand GRS's programming in both the arts and academics.
James is focusing his social entrepreneurship project on fundamental issues with MS children that will change the future. He envisions a youth center that will focus on the needs of children and help map the road to “success”. This youth center will have three focus areas social skills, emotional health, and reading comprehension.
Jena’s social entrepreneur project incentivizes positive academics and excellent behavior in schools with the reward of local, cultural experiences such as a trip to the art museum, a private golf lesson, or a Delta soul food tour. Her nonprofit organization will facilitate experiences for kids by partnering with local businesses, artists, musicians, athletes, etc.
Her social entrepreneurship projects focuses on the betterment of youth with a strong focus on youth with juvenile delinquency history. Her goal is to one day create a group home for troubled youth as a trade off to being sent to the juvenile detention center.
Jeremiah is the Executive Director of the the Rosedale Freedom Project which is ultimately a leadership program that works to prepare middle and high school students to be leaders in the school, community, and collegiate pursuits.
Boyce is the co-found of Upror Media, which works with organizations and local businesses committed to community development, and tells the stories that help people connect with their environment and neighbors.
