Amanda Delperdang

Master of Education in Educational Administration & Supervision

Leland, MS

Amanda Delperdang lives her life in the pursuit of better ways to do things. Never satisfied with the way things are she strives to find creative ways to make the world a little better than it was before. She believes that teaching and loving people are the best ways to make change and both of those things take time and hard work.

From Ogden, Utah she received a Fine Arts degree from Utah State University.  She has lived and taught in Greenville, MS since 2013 where she was placed as a Teach For America corp member.

The Social Entrepreneurship project she is working on with her husband Jon, is to create a learning farm and community space in Greenville, MS. The farm will grow organic produce and have spaces for children and adults alike to learn how to grow their own food. The community space will be available for events, parties, meetings, classes and anything else the community needs. The overall goal is to create a space where learning can happen for all ages in a beautiful and natural setting connecting people to nature and the beauty within themselves.

Fun Fact: Amanda is that she loves to build and design things.

Things can be better so there is work to do. The world is not yet done. Lucky us.
