Katisha "Tisha" Limehouse was born and raised in the Lowcountry region of South Carolina. She graduated from Lander University (Greenwood, SC) in June of 2013 with a B.S in History as well as minors in psychology and political science. After being admitted into the corps in 2015, she taught at Carver Elementary School in Indianola, MS. She remained at Carver for an additional year, but now works at Lockard Elementary in Indianola, MS.

Her Social Entrepreneurship project is very much community based. She hopes to create a platform that for more parent-teacher collaboration-revamping the PTO/PTA , in essence. The ultimate goal is to create a family friendly curriculum that can be referenced by parents/community members to assist their students in their academic pursuits.

Fun Fact: In her free time, she frequents music and/or arts festivals in the Delta and beyond.
