A central goal of the fellowship is to attract and retain high-impact leaders in the state of Mississippi.

  • Not originally from Mississippi: 49 Fellows

  • Currently living in Mississippi: 43 Fellows (71%)

    • 34 Fellows were not originally from Mississippi but have chosen to stay.

    • 9 Fellows were from Mississippi and remain committed to serving the state.

The program is effectively reversing brain drain — 43 Fellows now live and lead in Mississippi communities. 71% Retention rate of fellows remaining in Mississippi.

  • Average GPA: 3.78

With multiple doctoral completions and a 98% success rate, Fellows exemplify the program’s rigor and commitment to developing highly qualified leaders.
