LeKesha Perry

Ms. LeKesha L. Perry, of Greenville, Mississippi, has extensive experience as an evaluator, policy analyst, strategic planner, and technical assistance provider. She is the founder and Principal Associate of Key Concepts, LLC, a research and evaluation firm committed to seeking solutions to some of society’s most challenging and complex problems. LeKesha, a dedicated advocate for children and families and a 2021 TFA alum taught 4th Grade English Language Arts (ELA) at Weddington Elementary School in Greenville, Mississippi. Noted for her creativity and innovation in the classroom, LeKesha earned the Rookie Teacher of the Year and Teacher of the Year awards in 2020 and 2021, respectively. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Millsaps College in political science. Because of her experience and leadership, LeKesha was selected as a W.K. Kellogg Community Leadership Fellow, where she was identified as leading transformative social change in her community so that children and their families can achieve optimal health and well-being, academic achievement, and financial security.

LeKesha’s social entrepreneurship project aims to make history more accessible to local communities in North Mississippi by engaging youth, community leaders, educators, and app developers. She envisions this project to make “history at our fingertips” while also engaging with partners who will introduce 21st-century technological skills to youth.
